Hey guys, lets pick up where we left off. We were talking about how you should pack your “Travel Surfboard Bag for a surf trip”, using towels and duct tape for extra protection, since you’ll be taking towels anyway. Should you use bubble wrap? Not necessarily, a good Travel Surfboard Bag and the use of properly placed towels should do the job. Towels are better, as you SHOULD still have them for use on the return trip. Bubble wrap may not be around for the return trip. If you have friends like mine, they’ll be popping the bubbles all trip long anyway, making the bubble wrap useless within your Travel Surfboard Bag for your return trip. Nose and Tail Guards are also an inexpensive way to help protect your surfboards at the points where they may need it most. If budget allows, Surfboard Socks are also a GREAT way to pack for a trip because you can use them INSIDE your Travel Surfboard Bag for extra protection AND you’ll have a bit of day to day protection once you get to your destination.
