The Kinetik Phase 3 range is designed to bring you all the key components necessary in providing a high performance, light weight fin. The Phase 3 fin is the latest innovation in the Kinetik Racing Range. It features a dense layer of carbon in the base and independent carbon strips leading up into the tip of the fin. The Phase 3 carbon base offers max stiffness, while the carbon strips ontrol the flex through the tip, and the tip has more fiberglass giving you extra flex into and out of turns. The Phase 3 Large Fins are ideal for surfers between 195 - 220 pounds(85 - 100kg). These Kinetik Racing Fins are HOT!!! If you want them you had better get your order in, we're liable to sell out! Other Thoughts: Compared to MF-1 fins in head high plus, the Phase 3 large worked better -- the MF-1 are too much fin in bigger surf for me. I liked the phase 3 fins most of the time, but there were times when they just did strange things, usually on big bottom turns, and were a little hard to slow down.
