FCS Quad Q-PC Fins

The FCS Quad Q-PC3 Fins utilize the same templates and foils as the FG3, while the FCS Quad Q-PC5 Fins utilize the same templates and foils as the FG5 and the FCS Quad Q-PC7 Fins utilize the same templates and foils as the FG7. The inside Foils were developed by FCS to increase fin efficiency, speed and hold through more positive water flow. The Q-PC Fins have a rounded leading edge that optimize foil performance by allowing water to flow efficiently over the foil, increasing the fins overall speed, drive and smooth rail to rail transition. These Fins have a progressive flex pattern that consists of a solid fin base combined with a slight, responsive tip flex. The rear fins (GX-Q) have an efficient 80/20 foil allowing a tight yet smooth turning arc while adding extra drive. The rear Fins on the Q-PC Series Fins feature two different core inserts to increase stiffness in the base with minimal flex through the tip.

Quad PC Series Materials:

The FCS Quad PC Series Fins are Resin Transfer molded Fins, molding a sandwich of lightweight lantor (honeycomb foam like structure) between layers of fiberglass producing a lightweight, fin with remarkable flex. The FCS PC Quads are made from laid 4oz fiberglass sheets and polyester resin the molding process guarantees precision and accuracy. Each FCS Quad PC Fin produced is then hand finished and polished giving the fin a glossy smooth feel. The Quad PC Series Fins (Q-PC3, Q-PC5 and Q-PC7) also have a range of resin tints that make for an impressive aesthetic.

Other Thoughts: First time riding this board or a Quad. I had purchased a Knubster and threw it on too. Unfortunately, the waves were small, but offshore winds and clean. The board felt loose and quick, but it could just be the wider tail. Would have tested them longer, but I wanted to try others.
