The Kinetik LE-3 were designed by Luke "Lead Foot" Egan, the name evokes words like power, back foot and buckets. Kinetik Racing Fins has brought in Luke, who is a design fanatic with decades of design and constant evolution in his blood to help them design the LE-3, a fin for the "big guy". The LE-3 provides more height for extra drive that is compensated by the balanced rake for quick turns. The LE-3 Fins are ideal for surfers between 185 - 220 pounds. (75 - 95kg) The Kinetik Racing Fins are HOT, if you want them you had better get your order on we're liable to sell out! Get them here!

Home Break: Indialantic, FL Where did you surf these fins: Indialantic Wave Height: 4 - 6 ft. Wave Conditions: Good Misc. Wave/Location Information: Surfed these fin in a few different conditions.
Type of Board: Big Guy Shortboard Board Size: 6 ft. 5 in. Fin Setup: Thruster Misc. Board Information: Round tail, lots of volume, tends to go to fast in overhead mushy surf.
Other Thoughts: The Kinetik LE-3 worked well in smaller conditions, but they were too hard to turn in more powerful waves. They're just to big, they worked sometimes, but mostly didn't allow board to work as I wanted.
"Fit the Bill"
- Steven Z., La Jolla, CA on the Kinetik LE-3 Carbo Tune
Home Break: La Jolla Reefs Where did you surf these fins: Better San Diego beach breaks & Lowers Wave Height: 4 - 6 ft. Wave Conditions: Good Misc. Wave/Location Information: Steep to semi punchy beach break and also clean open faced Lower Trestles
Type of Board: Big Guy Shortboard Board Size: 6 ft. 2 in. Fin Setup: Thruster Misc. Board Information: Tested these on a 6"2 Lost "Mayhem" Beach Buggy Shortboard.
Other Thoughts: Surfed these fins in waist to head high surf and liked them. For the bigger sized surfer large fins can tend to feel "too large" or don't have that balance of pivot for tight arcs or turns yet offer enough release not to be considered "slidey". These fins fit that bill and I very well may circle back to these if the new Jordy fins don't live up to expectations.
