Future Fins Rasta Twin Keel
Concept Behind Future Fins Twin Fin Line:
Future Fins has ALWAYS been progressive when designing their new fins! With Twin fins this becomes tricky because Twin fins are supposed to have an "Old School" feel. But, don't worry, they understand this and have made sure that their Twin Fin line has the perfect balance between the progressive fin you've come to expect from Future Fins and that "Old School" Twin Fin feel that your looking for!
Future Fins Rasta Twin Keel:
Future Fins and Aussie free-surfing icon David Rastovich, have introduced his signature keel fin, the Future Fins Rasta Twin Keel. For the past year, Rasta and Future Fins have been working closely together to design the most advanced keel for a twin board. As a surfer, Dave Rastovich knows the importance of the ocean and all of its inhabitants. Knowing this, Rasta is donating 100% of his signature Future Fins Vector Rasta Twin Keel royalties to the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society and Future Fins is matching it. How could you not be stoked about the Future Fins Rasta Twin Keel!?!

"Performed Very Well"
- Scott N., Sebastian Inlet, FL on the Future Fins Rasta Twin Keel
Overall Fin Rating: 4
Height: 6'0"
Weight: > 200 lbs.
Surfing Experience: (1 - 10): 7
Home Break: North of Sebastian Inlet, FL
Where did you surf these fins: Whites
Wave Height: 4 - 6 ft.
Wave Conditions: Good
Misc. Wave/Location Information: N/A
Type of Board: Longboard
Board Size: 8 ft.
Fin Setup: Twin
Misc. Board Information: N/A
Other Thoughts: These fins performed very well as long as I gained speed before trying to turn. They made my short longboard perform much like my old 6'8" fish. I was fortunate to have 5+' glass waves to try them out on.
"Slipped and Slid"
- Lee H., Pensacola, FL on the Future Fins Rasta Twin Keel - Hex
Overall Fin Rating: 3
Height: 6'1"
Weight: 191 - 200 lbs.
Surfing Experience: (1 - 10): 6
Home Break: Pensacola, Fl.
Where did you surf these fins: Navarre beach, Fl
Wave Height: 1 - 2 ft.
Wave Conditions: Poor
Misc. Wave/Location Information: N/A
Type of Board: SUP
Board Size: 8 ft. 6 in.
Fin Setup: Twin
Misc. Board Information: 8'6x32 WD round pin, slightly pulled nose, step rail.
Other Thoughts: I think these fins belong on an old school wide tail fish. My board just slip and slid without drive. The conditions were less than favorable to test them proper. My board works best as a quad.
"Great Fins"
- Jordan S., Kaneohe, HI on the Future Fins Rasta Twin Keel - Hex
Overall Fin Rating: 5
Height: 6'1"
Weight: 181 - 190 lbs.
Surfing Experience: (1 - 10): 10
Home Break: Kewalos Oahu
Where did you surf these fins: Kewalos Oahu point break
Wave Height: 2 - 4 ft.
Wave Conditions: Excellent
Misc. Wave/Location Information: Point Break
Type of Board: Big Guy Shortboard
Board Size: 5 ft. 2 in.
Fin Setup: Twin
Misc. Board Information: Mini Simmons inspired
Other Thoughts: These fins are super fast. Due to large surface area but small base. Holds speed in turns a hell of a lot better then my stock twin fins. Great great fins I will be buying these.
"Viable Choice"
- Marc B., Jacksonville, FL on the Future Fins Rasta Twin Keel - Hex
Overall Fin Rating: 5
Height: 6'1"
Weight: > 200 lbs.
Surfing Experience: (1 - 10): 7
Home Break: Jax beach
Where did you surf these fins: Jax beach
Wave Height: 2 - 4 ft.
Wave Conditions: Good
Misc. Wave/Location Information: Clean and peaky beach break.
Type of Board: Hybrid
Board Size: 6 ft. 1 in.
Fin Setup: Quad
Misc. Board Information: Baked potato 22.75 wide, 18.8 tail, 3.0 thick
Other Thoughts: Felt like it added 6 inches to the boards length (in a good way). Made the surfboard a viable choice on head high days. On smaller days it almost feels like a thruster set up on the baked potato. I used seaworthy rears in conjunction with the rasta keels. Liked them enough that I ended up buying a set.
