Futures Fins Control Series Fins EA Quad
The Control Series is an upgrade to Futures Fins fiberglass line. The Future Fins Control Series features a
layer of uni-carbon strips which give these fins a much more dynamic
response. This addition also allowed Futures to give them a thinner
profile. This translates to a lighter-weight fin and a decrease in drag
without sacrificing the durability or control you’d expect from a
fiberglass fin. The Control Series is also a great addition to the Future Fins Ride
Number story, contrasting with Speed Generating fins such as Black Stix
or the Generation Series. These fins will fit into the 1 to 3 Ride
Number range as the most Speed Controlling options in the Futures line. Make
sure to have a set of these in your fin quiver for powerful surf!
Futures Fins Control Series Fins Thinner Profile - With a solid material like fiberglass the only way to reduce weight is to reduce mass. Futures reduced the thickness of these fins by 5% which results in a lighter fin with less drag.
Futures Fins Control Series Fins Uni-Carbon - After thinning out the profile, Futures was left with a fin that was to flexible. To compensate they added in a layer of uni-carbon which provides all the stiffness you'd expect from a fiberglass fins, with an added bonus of resiliency.
Futures Fins Control Series Fins Indestructible - When you're surfing in shallow waters or paddling across the reef, your fins might take a lit. Luckily fiberglass will stand the test of time! Simply sand away any ding, scratch or imperfection and they're good as new!
Futures Fins Control Series Fins Built for Power - When you're taking off late and stalling, controlling your speed is everything. The Control Series was built for just that...hence the name. If you're planning to come face to face with heavy conditions, make sure to have these fins in your arsenal.
