WRV Surfboards (Wave Riding Vehicles) Rockfish
The WRV Rockfish is a modern marvel! Shaping a double winger swallow tail isn't easy if you do it right. Your of experience is the ONLY way to get it right! WRV's Rockfish can be traced back to the mid-90's when the fish resurfaced from near extinction. It remains in the quiver because it's time tested and hot looking. Some Rockfish are pulled in at the tail for "that guy" and others have a full tail because the WRV Rockfish sticks to it's roots when possible.
WRV 6ft. 4in. Rockfish
"Once again, WRV have made this 6'4" Rockfish feel much smaller, it feels more like a 6'1" for some reason. The double bump in the back is awesome. It's strange because the double bump on this board is not as pronounced as some of the other Rockfish I've seen. The board is a bit more narrow, so my guess is that WRV didn't have the need to taper in the tail as much. Specs. on this board read; 6" 4" x 20 1/2" x 2 1/2". We have measured the nose and tail for you as they're not stated on this particular board. Nose and tail measurements are always taken 12 in. from the nose and tail. Those measurements are, 13 1/2" at the nose and 16 1/4" at the tail. (Remember that the double bump allows the tail to taper off VERY quickly) This WRV comes equipped with a FCS 5-Fin set up and comes standard with a thruster set of FCS M3 fins and a pair of GL rears for those that want to ride it as a quad. The tail on this board will give you hold, while the double bump loosens things up for small to medium waves. We weighed it at an AWESOME 7.15 lbs.for a 6'4"! (Maybe why it feels more like a 6'1") This board is a wave catcher for medium to advanced surfers in the 180lbs range. Perfect for shredding small to medium+ waves, good for perfect small to medium lines with a shoulder, or less than ideal conditions."
