The FCS GAM Fins are Al Merricks' proven template known for exceptional drive and maneuverability. The GAM fins are GREAT for larger surfers/larger surf and PERFECT when it comes to quick release through turns, due to the smaller center fin. Get in position on big waves and get barreled!

FCS GAM2
The FCS GAM2 Fins are Al Merricks' original template known for exceptional drive and maneuverability, with Inside Foil Technology and a bit smaller template than the GAM the FCS GAM2 Fins are geared towards medium/smaller surfers. The GAM2 fins are enhanced with PC construction. These Fins are GREAT for long arcs, down the line surfing, or in boards with wider tails and a lot of rocker and PERFECT for quick release through turns due (again) to their smaller center fin.

"No-nonsense User Friendly Fin"

Other Thoughts: Responsive fin with a good sized template for me. Used then on a 6'4" shorty. Great medium flex and release off the top, but turning arc seemed a bit too long/slow for the beach break bowls, they needed a quicker turning radius. Overall they seemed to be a no-nonsense user friendly fin.

Other Thoughts: Not much drive, took a wave or to get used to. Very responsive, made sliding out the tail a piece of cake. Very fun for whipping the board around. Great fins if you want a looser feel.

Other Thoughts: Overall a good template...somewhat lacking in the flex department due to lack of carbon. They worked well for down the line speed but didn't drive off the bottom turn very well. Maybe just too small for my size 125lbs...it'd like to see more of the al merrick template with carbon placements to make a stiffer fin on this popular template.
