The C4 SUP 1 Piece Fiberglass Paddle is for SERIOUS SUP surfers! Every C4 Waterman Paddle gives you a SUP paddle based on "Core 4", which represents the 4 core disciplines of a waterman; STRENGTH, ENDURANCE, BALANCE, and TRADITION, so you know your getting a Paddle with thought behind every feature!
With the C4 Waterman 1 Piece Fiberglass Paddle your blade is not like a usual "flat-styled" canoe paddle with a long handle. The C4 Waterman Fiberglass Paddle was specially designed for paddle surfing with a new keel-shaped blade neck on the powerface of the blade. This helps to steer the paddle straight for less paddle wander, more control and it's designed so it won't pull you off balance when taking hard strokes for the waves. This design also helps steer the paddle and minimize rail banging. The C4 Waterman SUP 1 Piece Fiberglass Paddle was also designed with the wide point of the 8.5" blade down deep for more power and positive bite in the water. The front of the blade features a "flowing curved face", that allows you to easily skim the blade across the water when "pulling Gs" on those hard bottom turns. This departure from a flat-blade canoe paddle that can catch an edge when skimming paddle across the water is an innovation you should come to expect from C4 Waterman.
*Note this SUP Paddle comes stock at 83in. with an Extra 2 1/2in. once the handle is in place, giving this SUP Paddle a total MAX length of 85 1/2in.

Keeping in mind whats most important is how the length feels to you, with basic standards being this: (All measured taller than yourself) SUP Surf Paddle length is +/- 6in., for an all around SUP Paddle +/- 8in and for SUP racing paddle you would want +/- 10in.
