FCS V2 Fins - Performance Core (Thruster, Quad and 5-Fin)

*The FCS K2.1 Fins have now been discontinued and replaced with the FCS V2. Kelly Slater designed the FCS K2.1 fins where made to be more maneuverable and faster off the top than the original FCS K-Fin.

FCS V2 Performance Core Fins
The FCS V2 side and center fins have different templates, foils and flex patterns. With the V2 template the larger, more upright side fins have greater flex for tighter and faster turns, while the smaller, stiffer center fin adds control! The FCS V2's are the same template as the K2.1's, which were Kelly Slater’s world winning template, ideal for high performance in pocket surfing. You HAVE to add the FCS V2 Fins to your quiver if you don't have them yet! Kelly tested the FCS V2 template in Performance Core through the 2nd half of 08'. The FCS V2 Performance Core Fins have an upright template designed by Kelly with a smaller trailing fin. This template is perfect for beach break and barrels and is ideal for tight turns and high performance in the pocket surfing.

FCS V2 Fin Material
Performance Core material and construction is designed to deliver the feeling of a traditional fiberglass fin with added performance and reduced weight. The Resin Transfer Molding process produces a lightweight fin with amazing flex and smooth feel.

Other Thoughts:
These fins are basically K2.1 tri fins plus G1000 for quad rears...The sides are slightly bigger than the original K2.1 and feel good. Abit more streamlined foil too...I liked the set as quads and they felt really smooth and drivey. Overall a good replacement for the K2.1 tri set with better Quad rears. These fins should probably be standard for every FCS user. Good fins.
