Kinetik AI-2.0 Racing Fins Carbo Tune: (FCS Compatible)
Before his tragic passing in late 2010, Andy Irons was working with Kinetik Racing Fins on the Ai-2 to accommodate his new boards, and his renewed enthusiasm for being back on top. These Andy Irons Forever fins represent everything critical about his surfing, and his passion to be one of the Elites. The AI 2.0 fins are a small template and were designed ideally for surfers between 110 - 155 pounds(50 - 70kg). The AI-2 design has been used and loved by many Pros riders since its development and we at the Surfboard Warehouse are positive that it will please you just as well.
Home Break: Oceanside Blvd Where did you surf these fins: All over north San Diego Wave Height: 2 - 4 ft. Wave Conditions: Good Misc. Wave/Location Information: Surfed these fins in head high to overhead throwing conditions down to waist high mush.
Type of Board: Shortboard Board Size: 5 ft. 8 in. Fin Setup: Thruster Misc. Board Information: N/A
Other Thoughts: Best fins I've ever surfed for putting the board hard on rail. Definitely felt the spring out of cutbacks and bottom turns from the carbotune technology. They have a little bit more rake then I personally like, but man you could draw such good lines and never worry about your fins breaking track

Other Thoughts: great responsive fin, loose in small surf not as much drive as the phase 3s though. not enough good surf for a fair test but with conditions as stated, faired well than expected.
